All-Metro baseball: First team
The senior catcher threw out 33 of 38 runners trying to steal. He also hit .654 with a .969 slugging percentage, 34 RBIs and 30 runs. “Even when he’s losing he has fun,” coach Lee Swartzenberg said. “He just wants to play baseball the old-fashioned way.” Parker will attend Towson University next fall on a combination of athletic and academic scholarships.
