All-Metro baseball: First team
The senior pitcher went 6-1 with a 1.19 ERA and hit .370. In the playoffs, Crosswhite was 4-0. His three-run homer in the Class 2A state semifinals helped the Hawks reach their first state title game. He pitched in the title game and scored the winning run in a 3-2 victory over Eastern Tech. He’ll be at Northwest Muscle Shoals (Ala.) Community College next fall.
