All-Metro baseball: First team
The senior right-hander went 9-0 with a 1.68 ERA as he led the Falcons to the Class 4A state title. He gave up 33 hits in 58 innings and struck out 66. He threw a no-hitter in a regional quarterfinal, a complete game in the regional championship, and a one-hitter in the state title game. Taylor will attend the University of North Carolina-Charlotte next fall.
